"Summer Innovative IT Camp 2026" at GAUS
A three-week "Summer Innovative IT Camp" for fifth-grade students was held at the Educational-Sports Complex school of Gazprom Armenia CJSC.
The camp aimed to create an educational environment where summer vacation could be combined with acquiring new knowledge, developing creative thinking, and making exciting discoveries. The program was conducted in an interactive format that integrated information technology, teamwork, physical activity, and leisure.
During the camp, participants were introduced to the most in-demand fields of the modern digital world. They learned the fundamentals of website creation, explored the principles of branding, graphic design, and web design, mastered the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and took their first steps in programming using the Python language.
The program also included practical robotics sessions and logic games, which helped foster the participants' creativity and analytical thinking skills.
The educational component was combined with active and engaging leisure activities. Campers participated in outdoor games, swimming sessions, educational excursions, and various team-based initiatives. During the camp's closing ceremony, participants presented the websites and games they had created, demonstrated the operation of the robots they had programmed, and shared the knowledge, skills, and unforgettable experiences they had gained during the camp.
The students took home not only knowledge but also T-shirts and mugs featuring the brand they had created.
