Russian school
The Russian School of the Educational and Sports Complex of Gazprom Armenia CJSC commenced operations in the 2023–2024 academic year with the opening of the first Russian class in the Armenian school.
In accordance with the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Armenia regarding the operation of the Educational and Sports Complex of Gazprom Armenia Closed Joint-Stock Company in Yerevan, signed on December 20, 2024, and effective in the Republic of Armenia as of July 24, 2025, the Russian School conducts educational activities in compliance with the Federal State Educational Standards (FSES) of the Russian Federation. It follows the corresponding federal basic general education program for primary general education in Russian, with mandatory teaching of the Armenian language.
The educational process is based on the "School of Russia" program—one of the most effective primary education programs designed to develop key competencies, critical thinking, speech culture, and academic independence. Armenian language instruction begins in the first grade and is mandatory, while English is offered as an extracurricular activity. Starting in the second grade, students are grouped by proficiency levels for foreign language study, enhancing the effectiveness of the learning process.
USK's unique infrastructure offers all the essential resources for the comprehensive development of students. The educational program is divided into disciplines that focus on physical, intellectual, and creative growth, enabling each student to fully realize their potential. In additional education classes, children learn to apply the knowledge gained in the classroom and observe its practical benefits.
