The "Across Armenia" Summer Educational Camp has officially commenced at the Primary School of the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex.

The program aims to foster a deeper appreciation of Armenia among campers, promote the country’s rich cultural heritage, and cultivate skills oriented toward the future.

Each camp day begins with a morning assembly, during which every team enthusiastically presents its unique motto with lively rhythms and high spirits.

The first week of the camp was held under the theme "Descendants of Hayk: Self-Discovery and Roots."

Throughout the week, campers engaged in a variety of educational and research-based activities.

Family Trees and Identity. Through the discussion "Nice to Meet You, I Am Armenian," children explored their heritage and discovered more about their family roots. Together with their family members, they created their own family trees. Their journey into Armenian identity continued at the Masur Art House, where they learned about the symbolic meanings of traditional Armenian carpet patterns and national costumes, and crafted their own traditional headpieces and belts.

Exploring Nature: As part of the "Nature Journal" project, campers engaged in hands-on scientific observations, including studying anthills and investigating ant behavior. During their cooking class, they also prepared the popular "Anthill" cake, inspired by the week's nature theme.

The week concluded with an outdoor gathering, providing campers the opportunity to reflect on their experiences while appreciating the beauty of nature.
