As part of the “Malyan Days at School” initiative implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of renowned Armenian film director, theatre director, screenwriter, and educator Henrik Malyan was held at the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex.

High school students listened to a brief overview of the famous Armenian’s life and career and then watched excerpts from his films Triangle, We and Our Mountains, Road to the Circus, and others.

In the second part of the event, actor Samvel Topalyan from the Henrik Malyan Theatre of Cinema Actors conducted a master class with members of the GAUS theatre group, sharing some secrets of acting mastery.
