International Cooperation with Chinese Higher Education Institutions

During the working visit of the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex delegation to China, meetings were held with the leadership of the departments responsible for admitting foreign students at Fudan and Nanjing Universities.

The director of the institution, Alexander Grigoryan; the deputy director for academic affairs and sports, Emin Santrosyan; and the IT sector officer, Paruyr Varderesyan, visited Fudan University in Shanghai, which ranks 30th in the prestigious “QS World University Rankings 2026” and 41st in the “Academic Ranking of World Universities 2025.”

Representatives responsible for working with foreign students discussed the university's advantages, presented the English-language educational programs, and highlighted the infrastructure available to students.

Director A. Grigoryan, presenting the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex, noted that it ranks second among private educational complexes in Armenia in terms of student enrollment and holds a high rating.

The SSU delegation also visited Nanjing University, which is ranked 75th in the Ranking of World Universities 2025. a meeting was held with Ye Runyu, Head of the Admissions Department at the University’s Institute of International Students.

The parties presented their educational institutions, the services offered to students, and their educational approaches and concepts. During the meeting, they outlined the pathways that will enable graduates of the Educational Complex to continue their studies at Nanjing University.

An agreement was reached with the universities of Shanghai and Nanjing to maintain contact and facilitate mutual visits, aiming to create new opportunities for GAUS graduates.
