Our students learned first aid at YSMU

Students of our Education and Sports Complex attended Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi participate in the 'Specialist' programme run by the YSMU Career Centre.

During the programme the students were introduced to first aid skills, theoretical and practical work. They were taught how to save the lives of citizens in emergency situations with the means available before calling for professional medical assistance. The students also visited the YSU Museum and the COBRAIN Scientific and Educational Centre for Basic Brain Research, where they had the opportunity to observe the work of various laboratories.

At the end of the programme, the participants received certificates. It should be noted that the aim of the Specialist programme at YSU is to encourage high school students to acquire knowledge about medical professions and to facilitate their professional orientation.
