Education is the most effective investment in the future: September 1 at the ESC
The academic year has commenced at the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex.
A festive morning event was organized to welcome the first-graders. It was attended by Vahe Stepanyan, Chief of Staff and Affairs Manager of Gazprom Armenia CJSC and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex; representatives from the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Armenia; the Yerevan Center for Russian Science and Culture; the Our Future Foundation; and other guests.
Alexander Grigoryan, Director of the institution, congratulated the first graders on the start of the academic year.
“I congratulate you on this memorable day.
September 1 marks not only the beginning of the academic year for us but also a true celebration of knowledge and learning. This day continually reminds us that education is the most valuable investment in our future.”
He presented the achievements of our students in education, sports, and the arts from the previous year, then thanked the teachers and all staff members for their invaluable contributions to these successes.
“Once again, I congratulate you and all of us on the Day of Knowledge and the start of the new academic year. May this year be filled with great goals, new achievements, and fulfilled dreams. Good luck,” noted A. Grigoryan.
The students were also congratulated by Maxim Seleznyov, Counselor-Ambassador of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Armenia. He noted that the ratification of the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Armenia regarding the conditions for the operation of the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex is a significant and long-awaited milestone on the eve of the academic year.
“From the new academic year, the Russian-language classes established two years ago will operate in full accordance with the Russian educational program. I congratulate all of us on this occasion,” said M. Seleznyov.
The Ambassador-Advisor also congratulated the teaching staff and employees, expressing deep appreciation for their contributions to the development and prosperity of the school.
After the congratulatory speeches, the schoolchildren welcomed the first-graders with musical and dance performances, including a theatrical presentation about the school's activities.
After the event, the schoolchildren hurried to their classrooms to explore the vast world of education and knowledge.
