Independence Day on the peak of Arteni
Students of grades 6–12 from the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex, led by geography teacher Shushan Antonyan and accompanied by other teachers, carried out a symbolic ascent to the summit of Mount Arteni in the Aragatsotn region.
A group of about 80 participants, who reached the 2047-meter-high peak, congratulated everyone on the 34th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence right from the mountaintop.
According to the subject teacher, this festive climb once again reminded everyone that patriotism begins with knowing one’s homeland.
