Barekendan
Barekendan was such a lovely, national, long-awaited holiday that it was perceived by the Armenian nation as the most national ("Armenian Nation Days), as well as the happiest, feasting, rich, and abundant food holiday, two weeks of dancing, games, entertainment, theater and joy. Abundant food was allowed in those days. The 4th-grade students of our school organized a beautiful event with a small reception and staging “Barekendan” fairy tale by Hovh. Tumanyan.
