Dancing class at our school
In our school, dance is a component of the students' educational program. Dance has a history of thousands of years. It is an integral part of culture, embodying the customs, traditions, and way of life of all peoples. The basis of dance is classical dance which is considered the grammar of dance. By the way, classical dance is a term that appeared in Russia in the late 19th century.
Hasmik Ghulyan, one of the dance teachers at our educational complex, mentioned that dance enables children to have proper body coordination, muscle flexibility, free movement of the head, arms, and legs. Dance is important for posture, structure, thought, speech and intellect. The psychological problems that children often encounter are easily overcome through dance. It has a unique effect on the educational and aesthetic taste of children.
Dancing is not only desirable but also healthy. For example, in ancient Greece, people were treated with dance. Dance therapy schools still operate in many developed countries. The therapeutic value of dance was scientifically developed in 1966 in the United States.
