Cup and Medals from the Swimming Competition Held at UWC Dilijan School

The swimming team of the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex participated in the “UWCD Cup – Inter-School Swimming” competition held at UWC Dilijan School. The team secured first place overall and won medals in various swimming events.

Teams from Dilijan Central School, UWC Dilijan, and Dream Bridgeman School also participated in the competition. Our students returned home with a total of 12 medals.

Alesya Turyan, a fourth-grade student, won first place in the 25-meter freestyle swimming event.

Monte Vardanyan, a fourth-grade student, won first place in the 50-meter relay and third place in the 25-meter freestyle.

Aren Mkrtchyan, a fifth-grade student, won first place in the 50-meter relay.

David Tadevosyan, a fifth-grade student, won first place in the 50-meter relay and second place in the 50-meter backstroke events.

Emma Ghambaryan, a fifth-grade student, claimed first place in the 50-meter relay and third place in both the 50-meter backstroke and 50-meter freestyle events.

Arthur Kojoyan, a sixth-grade student, became the overall champion by winning gold medals in the 50-meter freestyle, 50-meter backstroke, and 50-meter relay events.

In addition to winning numerous individual medals, our team secured first place in the relay event for the 2014–2016 age groups, earning the competition cup.
