Gazprom ESC Student’s Gift to the Nansen Museum

Within the framework of the “Armenian All-School Science Festival-2026,” Miguel Arzanyan, a 9th-grade student in class “B” at the “Gazprom Armenia” CJSC Educational and Sports Complex, with the support of his geography teacher, Lusine Hakobyan, created the website “100 Years Later in the Footsteps of Fridtjof Nansen,” which he donated to the Fridtjof Nansen Museum.

To support the website, Miguel, the subject teacher, and the 7th-grade "C" class students visited the museum to learn about the life and achievements of Fridtjof Nansen—a Norwegian polar explorer, scientist, diplomat, outstanding humanitarian, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, High Commissioner for Refugees of the League of Nations, and a devoted friend of the Armenian people.

At the museum, the students listened to a brief lecture about the life, scientific achievements, and humanitarian efforts of the distinguished figure.

At the end of the visit, Miguel presented the website to the museum staff and his classmates. The website details Nansen's journey, includes photographs taken by him alongside modern interpretations, and features materials about Nansen's life.

The museum staff expressed their gratitude for the valuable gift and hoped that Miguel would personally present the website he created to museum visitors during the festive events.
