GAUS, laureate of the national competition "ARENA"

The Complex was represented in the competition across three categories simultaneously: "Swimming Pools," "Ice Rinks," and "Sports and Health Complexes."

This year, more than 480 sports facilities from various CIS countries participated in the international competition.

The award ceremony for the competition winners and laureates was held in Moscow during a conference titled "New Reality for Sports Arenas 2026: Digitalization, Import Substitution, Inclusivity." This conference is one of the most important professional events in the sector, bringing together representatives from the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, Olympic and Paralympic committees, sports organizations, sports federations, and industry businesses on a single platform.

The "Training and Sports Complex" of Gazprom Armenia CJSC is participating in the "ARENA" competition for the second time. In 2024, the complex became a prize winner, securing second place in the "Fitness Industry Facilities" category.

This year, Vigen Simonyan—a graduate of the Complex’s school and a student at the I.M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas—represented the Training and Sports Complex of Gazprom Armenia CJSC at the awards ceremony on behalf of its director, Alexander Grigoryan. He expressed gratitude to the competition organizers and accepted the honorary award on the director’s behalf.
