GAUS Student Returns from “Smena” Educational Camp

Miguel Arzanyan, a ninth-grade student at the Educational and Sports Complex of Gazprom Armenia CJSC, has returned from the Smena educational camp in Russia with several certificates and awards.

It should be noted that 9th-grade students Rafael Movsesyan and Miguel Arzanyan from GAUS participated in the “Russian Language for Cultural Dialogue” International Olympiad, organized by the Armavir State Pedagogical University of the Russian Federation, and earned the opportunity to attend the “Smena” educational camp.

Miguel traveled to Russia and, during the two-week camp, participated in a variety of educational and cultural programs, during which he demonstrated strong subject knowledge and skills.

During the International Festival of Russian Language and Culture, our student recited Yeghishe Charents’ and Daniel Varuzhan’s “Ode” and wonthe main prize in the “Word of the Nation” category.

He also participated in the international program “Bridge of Friendship: Russia and the World”, improved mhis language skills and received a certificate of participation.

During the camp, Miguel had the opportunity to present Armenia, its culture, and its cuisine.

In a conversation with us, he said that thanks to the camp, he not only enriched his knowledge of Russian culture but also became acquainted with the traditions and customs of various nations.

“I came back from the camp very impressed. I believe my horizons have broadened, and I have become a more well-rounded person,” he said.
