GAUS Team Secures First Place at the National Stage of the World Robot Olympiad

The "Logic Legends" team, representing the Educational-Sports Complex of Gazprom Armenia CJSC, secured first place in the RoboMission category (junior age group) at the national stage of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO).

Our school fielded three teams in this annual competition. The team led by informatics teacher Gohar Ter-Ghukasyan earned the right to represent Armenia at the international stage of the World Robot Olympiad, which will take place in Croatia.

The team members are Davit Tadevosyan, a 5th-grade student advancing to 6th grade, and Felix Abrahamyan, a 6th-grade student. It is important to note that the theme of the 2026 World Robot Olympiad is "Robots and Culture." As part of this year's competition, participating teams are exploring how modern technologies and robotics can contribute to shaping, preserving, and developing art and culture. Through creative solutions, participants demonstrate how robots can serve as tools for preserving and transmitting human stories, traditions, and cultural values.

The achievements of our students in robotics once again highlight the emphasis placed on innovation, technological education, and the development of creative thinking at the Gazprom Armenia Educational and Sports Complex.

We congratulate our students and their coach, Gohar Ter-Ghukasyan, on this outstanding achievement and wish them success on the international stage.
