Farewell to Elementary School
A series of events titled "Farewell to Elementary School" was held at the Educational and Sports Complex of Gazprom Armenia CJSC.
Fourth-grade students celebrated their transition to middle school with great enthusiasm, proudly demonstrating the wealth of knowledge, skills, and—most importantly—values they had acquired.
Their beloved homeroom teachers addressed the students with words of congratulations.
"Today, together, we close the chapter on our elementary school journey. Do you remember how, four years ago, you timidly entered the classroom for the first time, when letters and numbers did not yet obey you? Yet today, you stand on this stage as aspiring researchers, ready to uncover the world’s greatest secrets." Over these four years, we have gathered the brightest colors of our childhood—your first successes and smiles—into that suitcase. We have seen together that an Armenian’s suitcase is not merely for travel; it is filled with light, talent, and genius. You have learned to take pride in our greats: the stars of Viktor Ambartsumian, the powerful rhythms of Aram Khachaturian, the love songs of Charles Aznavour, and the indomitable voice of Serj Tankian.
But do you know what makes me most proud? You have learned the most important lesson: the art of being a good human being. You have learned to support one another, build sincere friendships, and to forgive, respect, and love.
My dear students, finishing elementary school is not a farewell; it is the beginning of a new, greater, and more exciting journey into middle school. Hidden within each of your schoolbags right now is a great idea—one that has the potential to change the world tomorrow.
Never be afraid to take small steps, and never stop dreaming, for the story of an Armenian never ends as long as they continue to dream. You are just getting started.
Wishing you all the best on your journey. "Go forth and conquer your highest peaks, but wherever you reach, never lose sight of who you are. Remain the warm, kind, and proud Armenians you have always been," noted Tatev Asatryan, the homeroom teacher of class 4A.
"Albus Dumbledore once said, 'Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.' Dear young wizards, congratulations on graduating from primary school. We began our journey as novices, but today you have ignited the light of curiosity and are graduating as true masters. As the films say, 'Mischief managed.' May the light of knowledge and the magic of friendship guide you through the great and exciting adventures of middle school. Onward to new heights!" said Varvara Melkonyan, the homeroom teacher of Class 4B.
"Dear children, my 'Trailblazers,' always believe in your own strength. Do not be afraid to dream, to try, or to fail. Every difficulty can be overcome. Boldly pursue your goals. May your path be filled with success, new achievements, and happy moments. Remember that every ending is the beginning of something new," noted Tsaghik Hakobyan, the homeroom teacher of class 4-G.
"Dear children, today you have completed an important stage of your lives—elementary school. A beautiful chapter of childhood, filled with memories, friendships, and achievements, now lies behind you. Step confidently and boldly into the next level of your education—more mature, aware, and self-assured. I wish you success at every crossroads in life. Never be afraid to dream and set new goals; always believe in your own abilities. Best of luck to you all, dear achievers," said Parzanush Gasparyan, the homeroom teacher of class 4-D.
"Dear 'Beacons of Light,' I wholeheartedly congratulate you on this important and memorable day. Today, you graduate from primary school and confidently step into a new and exciting phase of life. Over these years, you have not only discovered the wonderful world of knowledge but have also learned to be friendly, compassionate, honest, and to believe in your own abilities. You have acquired skills that will stay with you throughout your lives and help you reach new heights. May the light burning in your hearts never fade; may it illuminate your path, inspire you to achieve new successes, and always accompany you through every stage of life. I wish you boundless success, bright dreams, wonderful victories, and a happy childhood," said Anahit Manukyan, the homeroom teacher of class 4-E.
