The Annual Tournament for Regular Chess Players was held at the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex.

This year, the tournament brought together 26 students from grades 1 through 9. All students with a sports classification competed according to the Swiss competition system.

As a result, third place in the tournament was awarded to Mher Movsisyan, a student in grade 9A; Sipan Hajiyan, a student in grade 6A; and Areg Budaghyan, a student in grade 6D.

Certificates of honor were also awarded to Tatev Hovsepyan, the only female regular chess player who participated in the tournament and a student in grade 6a, as well as to Narek Ayvazyan, the youngest participant in the tournament and a student in grade 1b.

The winners were presented with their awards by Alexander Grigoryan, Director of the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex.
