“Our Language and Our Reality”: Project Work at ESC

On the occasion of Book Donation Day, students from the 10th and 11th grades of the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex presented the project titled “Our Language and Our Reality.”

The main topics of the work were Armenology, the history of the Armenian language, and the creation and development of the Armenian script.

“Our people have lived and survived because, even in the most difficult centuries, they have preserved their language and, with it, the identity of their people,” the students noted. They added, “This means it must be kept pure and unadulterated, cherished like the apple of their eye.”

After the welcoming remarks, the students presented slide shows on topics they had chosen based on their individual work.

During the event, the students also presented the beginning of Hovhannes Tumanyan's story "Gikor" in the native Lori, Mush, and Artsakh dialects.

The event concluded with a national song and dance performance.
