Letters of Appreciation on Behalf of the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation
A delegation led by Andrei Korneev, Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation
visited the Educational and Sports Complex of Gazprom Armenia CJSC.
The delegation, which included Yevgeny Nizhnik, Rector of Armavir State Pedagogical University of the Russian Federation; Ivan Tarakanov, Advisor to the Director of the Department for Integration of the National Educational System and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation; Mikhail Vozhdaev, Advisor to the Director of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Armenia; and other representatives, was welcomed by Vahe Stepanyan, Chief of Staff of Gazprom Armenia CJSC and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the State Educational Service Association; Alexander Grigoryan, Director of the State Educational Service Association; and other members of the management team.
The guests toured the Educational and Sports Complex and observed the operational educational and sports facilities. They were informed about the transition of the school's Russian classes to the Russian Federal State Standards following the signing and ratification of the Intergovernmental Agreement.
The purpose of the delegation's visit was also to present letters of appreciation on behalf of the Russian Minister of Education to Ashot Hakobyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazprom Armenia CJSC; Vahe Stepanyan, Chief of Staff of Gazprom Armenia CJSC; Alexander Grigoryan, Director of the Educational and Sports Complex of Gazprom Armenia CJSC; Deputy Directors Elena Amirkhanyan and Emin Santrosyan; Head of Educational Affairs Lusine Galstyan; Legal Advisor Tiran Abgaryan; Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature Tamara Arushanova; and Russian class teachers Kristina Mirijanyan and Gayane Khachatryan. At the end of the visit, Alexander Grigoryan, Director of the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex, presented silver badges of the Armenian Sports Academy to A. Korneev, E. Nizhnik, and I. Tarakanov.
