Russian language teachers were honored by the Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation
A solemn ceremony honoring Russian language teachers from general education schools in the Republic of Armenia was held at the Moscow House in Yerevan.
The event, organized through the joint efforts of Armavir State Pedagogical University of the Russian Federation and the Moscow House in Yerevan, was attended by Andrei Karneev, Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation; Yevgeny Nizhnik, Rector of Armavir State Pedagogical University; representatives from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation; the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Armenia; Armenian educational institutions; as well as teachers, pupils, and students.
During the ceremony, teachers from the Department of Russian Language and Literature at the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex were awarded certificates of honor for preparing the winners of the International Olympiad "Russian Language for Cultural Dialogue.
During the event, the Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation also awarded certificates of honor to ninth-grade students Rafael Movsesyan and Miguel Arzanyan from the Armenian State University, who won the Olympiad.
