School Director Wishes Success to Our Chess Team
Alexander Grigoryan, director of the Gazprom Armenia CJSC Educational and Sports Complex, along with the deputy directors, welcomed the GAUS chess team, which will participate in the second, community stage of the Chess Olympiad for Schoolchildren.
Let us remind you that Tatevik Hovsepyan (6th grade, section "A"), Sipan Hajyan (6th grade, section "A"), Tigran Petrosyan (6th grade, section "B"), and Areg Budaghyan (6th grade, section "D") formed the GAUS team as a result of an intra-school competition. The team's coaches are subject teachers Robert Nazaryan and Artur Kocharyan.
A. Grigoryan first congratulated the students on their initial victory, then noted that leaders are emerging within the school's chess community.
“I have no doubt that last year’s results will improve, but the most important thing is that you are satisfied with your game.”
Deputy Directors Elena Amirkhanyan and Emin Santrosyan also wished the team members good luck, emphasizing that fighting spirit, unity, and perseverance are essential.
The school’s head of academic affairs, Mary Nersisyan, also wished them good luck. The coaches promised that despite the intense competition, they would do everything possible to achieve satisfactory results.
