ESC Teachers Conduct Masterclasses

Teachers from the Russian Language and Literature Department of the Educational-Sports Complex (ESC) at Gazprom Armenia CJSC conducted master classes for members of the "Alliance of Russian Language Specialists" club.

The professional development program, initially launched during the "Winter School" held in St. Petersburg in February, continued at the Russian House in Yerevan, where the trained specialists shared their experiences with colleagues from other educational institutions.

Lilit Arzumanyan, a Russian language and literature teacher at USC, presented a master class titled "From Reader to Researcher."

She noted that a teacher's task is not merely to teach reading but also to help students comprehend, internalize, and interpret literary works. USH teacher Armine Vardanyan addressed the topic of pictorial texts—where words are complemented by images, diagrams, graphics, and other visual elements.

She demonstrated how graphic novels, character journey maps, mind maps, infographics, and other visual formats can help students engage more deeply with literary texts.
